DWH Learning

DWH Learning invited me to design some logo concepts for their new business. Here are the three main concepts I presented – along with some variations for each below.

Having considered some other existing logos, my client suggested a tree concept to represent ‘growth’ and as a way to visually show the 4 ‘branches’ they wanted to present. They were also keen to see some other ideas. They asked for the logos to be ‘formal and welcoming’ and ‘organic’.

So, I designed the 4 icons to represent their 4 aspects of Consulting, Design, Facilitation and Analysis and then looked at ways to combine these in organic, tree-like ways. This led to concepts 1 and 2.

I then created a third concept having been inspired by the ‘lightbulb’ icon I used for the ‘Design’ element that I felt represented the stereotypical ‘light-bulb’ moment we sometimes experience when learning something new – which I also felt worked rather effectively with the ‘W’ in the logo.
