One of the many unexpected joys of parenthood has proved to be the opportunity to bake and decorate birthday cakes for my two ever-growing boys.
It’s become a ‘thing’ now in our house – my boys love to come up with crazy ideas based on some of their favourite things and I love to see if I can come up with something vaguely resembling them.
Occasionally I’ve been asked to do some others too.
