Loughborough Library Local Studies Group (LLLSVG) came to me for help creating a consistent design for their book covers.
They had a very clear idea of the sort of thing they wanted using the faded out map image and then changing the overall colour for different publications. Then each publication has its own cover section that relates to the individual content, which is provided by the Local Studies Group.
My job is chiefly to assemble everything and create a print-ready file. What you see here is the flattened out front (right-hand side) and back (left-hand side) cover as a single image.
I think it’s a good example of how a simple idea can work surprisingly effectively.
